Player of the Week:
Pitchkolan walks away with the player of the week. While I think that was partly due to the great shot he had that ended up being the game winner, he also was a big part of the Loons counter attacking, both in providing the start to attacks and providing the cover to allow others to go forward.
In my opinion, if Bracallello doesn’t have the own goal, he would have been the player of the week. He had such a fabulous game attacking on the left side. The other person I thought had a great game was Calvano, who was just steady and ensured that Indy’s attacks didn’t amount to much.
Sub of the Week:
Well, when one of your subs hits the ball with his arm and gives the other team a penalty, no matter how accidental the hand ball was, he is going to be downrated. And so it was with Watson. Jordan, as he has done in the past, came in and brought an energy and a spark to the team, attacking the ball further up the field than Vicentini does.
